My brother, Stan, and I watched in amazement as Archie bent this 6” nail with his bare hands in the early 1960’s.
Leon Otting in Korea
Served in Korea with the U.S. Army • 1952 – 1954
Leon Otting, my Father-in-law, was 21 when he went to the war in Korea,. My wife, Julie was born while he was behind sand bags with his rifle and machine gun. He sent these photos home to his wife Joan. Leon and Joan had eight children before he died at age 48.
